Bread That You Can Feel Good About
Here we are on February 1st. With January behind us and Valentine's Day just around the corner, our thinking has shifted a bit. This week we're talking all things Bread.
It's a guilty pleasure of ours and we're thinking it might be one of yours too. Here's the fun part, Paleo puts all the anxiety over Bread to rest. (By that we mean, not so many grains/carbs.) In this collection, you'll find quite a few of those recipes.
Plus we've chosen quite a few veggie packed bread recipes that will allow you to put your Sous Vide Vegetables to use. We'll give you some tips on how to decrease your prep time in the paragraphs below :-)
We love chocolate and we adore bread! When we stumbled on this Paleo Perfection from Bakerita we thought, "destiny at last!"
Bread Recipes Mom Would Approve Of
This recipe from Paleo Running Momma reminds us of the Bread that Mom used to make. It looks good enough to be dessert but we also have plans for breakfast. Yes, we might just have this one twice today ;-)
It's time to pull out your Sous Vide Baby Carrots! Beings that they are pre-cooked they make for a much gentler grating process. They'll also add an incredible flavor profile that you just can't get from raw carrots. If you're going to take the time to make a quality homemade bread you might as well turn up the taste, right?
This Recipe calls for a Roasted Butternut Squash Purée. While the roasting process can be tasty it also takes time! Usually up to an hour or more. On days where your schedule demands simplicity, you can have the same quality bread in even less time. Simply place your Sous Vide Butternut Squash in a blender and Purée!
Breakfast Doesn't Get Better Than This
Most Sweet Potato Bread Recipes call for 1-2 cups of mashed Sweet Potatoes. Imagine having that ready in just 2-3 minutes. You can skip the boiling and baking if you choose ;-)
What Dinner Dreams Are Made Of
(Simplify this Recipe with your Sous Vide Beets.)
If ever there were a bread that could count as a serving of veggies, this would be it! With both Carrots and Zucchini, this savory treat has us dreaming of dinner all day long.
But First, Bread :-)
There you have it. The Healthy Bread Recipes that keep us coming back for more. Nothing is quite the same as pulling this kind of fresh baked goodness from the oven. We'll be staying warm with these Recipes all week so be sure to comment and let us know which ones you'll be trying as well!
