A Homemade Soup Can Change Your Day for The Better
You've come home from a long day of work or maybe it's been a long day at home with the kids. Either way, you're a bit tired. We can relate! Though the tiredness is there, it's accompanied by the longing for a warm (delicious) meal. Again, we can relate.
With the weather turning cold, no matter where you live, what could be better than a hearty bowl of soup (stocked full of vegetables).
Here's where we're excited to be able to help. That Savory Bowl of Homemade Soup you're craving is totally possible. (Even after a long day.) All it takes is a pre-made broth, some SFTRoot Sous Vide Veggies, and a few seasonings.
Tasty Homemade Soups in 10 Minutes or Less
Does your recipe call for a Sweet Potato Puree? We're happy to share that we've simplified it. Open the package of pre-cooked Sweet Potatoes, place them in a Food Processor, and blend. By skipping over the washing, peeling, and boiling you've just saved at least 20 minutes!
On a different note, can we talk about Crockpot Cooking for a moment? It can be fun to set up your Crockpot ahead of time, we do it too. But we know that there is still a good deal of Prep involved. Getting 3-4 veggies ready to cook takes time. Some days, we just don't have it in us.
Being able to create simple and tasty Soup recipes in 10 minutes or less has been a welcome addition to our lives. No more opening up a can and calling it dinner. Our Sous Vide Veggies give us the homemade feeling that we want more than anything else.
Add Them to the Mix, Heat & Eat
A second (and worthwhile) option is to add our pre-cooked veggies into an existing Soup Recipe. If it calls for cooked Butternut Squash, Sweet Potatoes, Potatoes, or Carrots you're covered. We also offer pre-cooked Kohlrabi and Beets. :-)
