Sous Vide Parsnip Pureé

INGREDIENTS PUREÉ
  1. 2 packages of Straight from the Root Organic Sous Vide Parsnips
  2. 1tbsp olive oil
  3. 1/2c chicken or vegetable broth
  4. 1 tsp garlic powder
  5. 2 tbsp chopped maple bacon

DIRECTIONS PUREÉ

  1. Microwave 2 packages of Straight from the Root Organic Sous Vide Parsnips in a blender for 90 seconds. 
  2. Pour broth, olive oil, garlic power, and salt and pepper in a blender.
  3. Add in both packages of parsnips.
  4. Blend until smooth.
  5. Transfer to a bowl and top with chopped maple bacon.
  6. Drizzle with 1 tbsp of maple syrup and ENJOY!

INGREDIENTS MAPLE BACON

  1. 4 strips bacon
  2. 2 tbsp maple syrup

DIRECTIONS MAPLE BACON

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Place bacon on a baking sheet and place in oven for 10 minutes. 
  3. Remove bacon from oven, flip each strip and brush with maple syrup.
  4. Place back in oven for another 5-10 minutes or until reached desire crispness. 
  5. Remove from oven and let cool.
  6. Once cool, chop bacon into bits.
