Warm Kohlrabi Coleslaw Sous Vide Recipe

Warm Kohlrabi Coleslaw Recipe

Here we are in the midst of Summer! How did we get here so fast, right? As you might have guessed, we've been busy too. Not too busy to bring you a new Sous Vide Recipe, though.

After a long day in the office, there is nothing more promising than being able to save a little time in the kitchen. In this case, we've taken care of preparing the Kohlrabi for you. This makes for such a fantastic side as it is low in calories and carbs yet high in phytochemicals.

If that's not enough, here's a few more reasons to add this incredible vegetable into your life:

  • Great Source of Vitamin C.
  • Supports Oxygen Circulation.
  • Supports the Liver in Detoxification.
  • Helps reduce acidity in the body.
  • Supports better Iron Absorption.

The Best Part

Since our Kohlrabi has been sous vide, you can expect the flavor to be incredible every single time. No guess work here!

Also, none of the Superfood nutrition you've come to expect is lost in the cooking process. That's in thanks to the scientific nature of Sous Vide. Cooked for a longer period under low heat, no nutrition is lost.

What Does it Taste Like?

Once cooked, it reminds us of a sweet cabbage. Thus, it adapts well with all kinds of other foods. In this case, we've chosen to pair it with Cider Marinated Chicken and Avocado.

This Recipe is Nutrition Packed

We've mentioned how wonderful Kohlrabi is, now let's talk about the Ghee. This source of healthy fat is causing many to ask coconut oil to step aside. One of our favorite Nutrition Experts has been singing the praises of ghee for some time now. In case you're wondering, we're referring to the Bulletproof founder himself, Dave Asprey

Why all the hype? Here are some of the reasons shoppers have put this must-have on their grocery list:

  • Supports better energy levels.
  • Supports better heart health.
  • Supports optimal immune health.
  • Supports better Gut Health.
  • Helps you feel fuller, longer.
  • Great source of Vitamin A, D & E.

As you can see, we put a great deal of thought into our Sous Vide Recipes. We believe in a marriage of decadent flavor and Olympian worthy nutrition. Why settle for any less!?

On the Table in Less Time

While you'll need to spend a little time preparing the chicken for this meal, we can save you time elsewhere. Most aren't sure how to peel and prepare Kohlrabi. In this case, you don't need too!

With SFTRoot Sous Vide Kohlrabi it's as simple as opening the BPA-free package it comes in. (It makes us happy to know that you might have a few extra minutes to spend with your loved ones at the end of day.)

While we all love the idea of a meal that's been cooked from scratch, it's not as doable these days. That's why we created SFTRoot Products. Perfect flavor, superior nutrition, and one less thing you have to worry about at home (prepping the vegetables).

Cheers, and enjoy this recipe with the ones you love!
